An original public speaking and presentation skills workshop
Thoughts and Questions:
Do you fear public speaking? Do you feel emotionally exhausted when you are asked to speak in front of a group? Do you “disconnect” from yourself when you are delivering a speech or presentation? Are you fearful of public speaking workshops that try to “mold participants” rather than inspire them? Do you have little belief in any system or workshop that claims to be able “to teach you how to be a better public speaker and presenter”?
Speaking and presenting to a group is one of the best examples of the weaknesses that exist in “human communication” today. The reality is, people want to hear a speaker that they can “relate to” and “connect with” – that is (generally) why they came to listen in the first place. Unfortunately, however, what they often get is a someone who fails to acknowledge them – the audience – as a group of individuals who are willing to listen; human beings who want to “find a way in” to the speaker so that when they leave the room they are motivated by what they just experienced (not frustrated).
